"This website needs a makeover" posted on Sep 15, 2009. |

| Seriously, I've been giving it some thought, and I think it's about time I really made this site sightworthy. I hate to see this sitting here doing nothing but maybe host some files (i.e. Greg with misc. Mod. Sys. stuff etc. and/or myself) Corgi has been coming along quite well, actually. I've been working on an automatic "toaster," as well as a couple other goodies. If anyone has any questions about Corgi or GUS, you can e-mail me or IM me (see contacts page). |

| WHY DO I EVEN HAVE THIS SITE HERE ANYMORE? I DON'T USE THIS THING FOR SQUAT EVER SINCE I DISCOVERED DNS AND PORT FORWARDING... I should really put something worthwhile here, eventually... Greg, you're very welcome to keep using this for your super 1337 hax0rz. Best regards, Vince |

| It feels like it's been forever since I've updated this page; I've just been way to busy lately to update this site on a regular basis. I might as well take a good weekend and set everything up on here. | ||

"Tracks and Arduino" posted on Oct 01, 2008. |

| In case you hadn't already gotten some, you can always listen to my tracks here. I am writing a piece of software that will map the rotation of an object that has an accelerometer attached to it, based on gravity, which will move a box inside of an applet. Very useful for visual representation. Processing and Arduino libraries will be free as in beer once completed. Please e-mail me if you are interested. Best regards, all, vb |

| I haven't said anything in a while, but I suppose it's never too late... Just wanted to check in: still alive. I've just been so busy lately working on projects that I haven't remembered to post on the news. I'll have a tutorial soon on how to set up a WAMP server with a DynDNS that has an automatic Host/Offline status mode using a PHP script that triggers when WAMP goes online or shuts down/etc. Very useful for those who don't want an ugly browser-embeded "Address not found" message whenever the server shuts down for maintenance or the like. See y'all 'round! vb |

"Happy New Year everyone!" posted on Jan 01, 2008. |
||
| Hello everyone! I am here wishing everyone a happy new-year and luck on their projects. I am almost completely done with the OREViC project and will have more news on it as soon as I purchase an optical rotary encoder. All the other pars have been assembled on to a board for testing. I accidentally put the voltage regulators in backwards and came close to ruining it, and I had to do a sloppy fix job on the connection. Makes me feel ashamed of such a quick-fix, but I think that the leads have a very solid connection to the board. One of them had to be soldered to the bottom of the board. Good grief! I will test this with the encoder, and if it works, I will attempt to fix the regulators once and for all; I need to go get some more solder-removal braid! I will have more information on all of this as soon as I can get my hands on one of those OREs. -Exprice |

"OREViCs Are Coming Along!" posted on Dec 12, 2007. |

| I have almost all of the parts to complete the OREViC. All I need to do now is buy the optical rotary encoder from Grayhill. I plan to buy one of these by the end of December, or better yet, build a device for Christmas. Maybe make a few as gifts as well. | ||

| TO THE-DIY-LIFE v2.0! As you can see, the interface is similar to v1.0.0, but has a Public Files button like the one in v1.0.1, except this time it's in the menu bar. v1.1.0 was never released. Too buggy. Some site features have been removed. EVERYTHING is more dynamic than before. Please enjoy the new layout :-). -Exprice |
